Best for: Listeners who want one useful idea per commute.
Clear is not a trained narrator, and early on his delivery feels a little like a well rehearsed talk. That stops mattering quickly. He knows exactly where the emphasis falls in every sentence, and the book is built from short, memorable rules that suit the ear.
The four laws of behaviour change (make it obvious, attractive, easy and satisfying) are repeated often enough that by the end you can recite them. In print that repetition can feel padded. In audio it works like spaced practice.
The bonus PDF of tables and summaries is worth downloading. Some of the habit scorecards are hard to picture without it.
At five and a half hours it is a book you can finish in a weekend and then return to a chapter at a time when your routines start slipping.

The verdict
A self improvement book that is genuinely better in audio. Keep it on your phone.
